Pay may be determined based on job duties, your experience, education, and the schedule you work. Adult Day and Employment Services

 

Job Coach

Will provide job coaching using a person-centered approach; provide necessary supervision; complete daily documentation; implement Individual Plans; provide task analysis for each job and environment; participate in job discovery process including job matching.

Requirements include:

  • Dependable work history, compassion, flexibility, and patience
  • 6 months’ experience working in the field of developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • High School diploma or GED;

Competitive starting wage of $17/hour.

Day Hab Professional (DHP)

Our DHP’s are awarded the opportunity to enhance the lives of the individuals we serve by helping them live life to the fullest every day!  Will work with people with developmental disabilities focusing on training and skill development programs.  We currently have full time first shift openings (Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, may vary depending on need).

Candidates must have dependable work history, compassion, flexibility and patience. Competitive starting wage of $16/hour and up based on experience. Experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities preferred.

Requirements include:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier

Residential Positions

 

Consumer Services Professional

Responsible for coordination of all medical services and appointments to ensure quality health care for individuals.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Monitor, schedule and track appointments
  • Complete medical documentation and communication
  • Transport individuals to appointments
  • Perform Quality Assurance on medical documentation
  • Will also provide direct care in homes

Starting wage is $17/hour.

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities
  • Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Positions

Become a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Today!

You will get to help people with Developmental Disabilities live their best lives. You will assist with meal planning, cooking, personal care, outings and teaching healthy life skills!  You will also get to have fun while making an impact! Work Full or Part Time. Flexible scheduling works great for students.

GET PAID WHILE YOU TRAIN!

Earn up to $5,250 for College Tuition

Entry level wage is $15.50/hr.  Earn an additional $4/hr on weekends and $2/hr for awake 3rd shift (11pm to 6am) – Sleeping 3rd shift $10.70/hr.

All DSP positions require:
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier (for driving positions)
High School diploma or GED
Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration

Home Supervisor

WLRS Home Supervisors are leaders in WLRS’ residential homes for people with developmental disabilities.

Duties include:

  • Supervision of staff
  • Ensuring compliance with state & federal regulations
  • Ensuring coordination of services
  • Development and monitoring of effective programs for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Coordinating medical services and appointments to ensure quality health care for individuals; completing medical documentation and communication; transporting individuals to appointments; keeping IAF documentation up-to-date; performing Quality Assurance on medical

Requirements include:

  • HS Diploma & 2 yrs. exp. in the field of developmental disabilities or Bachelor Degree in Special Education/related field & 1 yr exp. in field of developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license & acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier

Earn up to $28/hour based on experience.

 Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional(QIDP)

Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of Intermediate Care Facilities (ICF).

Duties include:

  • Provide guidance and supervision of Home Supervisors and have a strong presence in homes and work alongside staff
  • Provide on-call support
  • Programming Duties
    • Schedule and Chair IP meetings; write IPs; ensure Functional Capacity Assessment is accurate
    • Coordinate services
    • Assist with medical appointments and medical records
    • Develop behavior support strategies
  • Ensure successful operation of facilities
    • Ensure facilities operate within budget
    • Review program error reports; audit monthly paperwork; attend surveys
    • Audit consumer finances
    • Attendance at administrative, behavioral, and programmatic meetings
    • Coordination of Quality Assurance through surveys, quarterly compliance reviews and Plans of Correction
    • Maintain knowledge of Medicaid and DODD rules and regulations, Emergency Preparedness and Quality Indicators

Requirements include:

  • 2 year’s experience in field of DD
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education/related field REQUIRED
  • Obtain and maintain certification for ICF Reimbursement and Level of Care Evaluations
  • Maintain certifications in First Aid/CPR, Medication Administration, driver’s license, acceptable driving record determined by the insurance carrier t and proof of liability insurance

Starting salary is $54,080 based on experience.

Transportation Department

Shuttle Driver – Full Time

Our Shuttle Drivers provide safe non-medical transportation while providing assistance to the passengers.  Duties include completing paperwork, inspection of the vehicle, schedule regular maintenance and repairs for vehicle and annually attend safe driving course.  Candidates must have  dependable work history, flexibility and patience.  Competitive wages starting at $18/hour depending on experience plus an excellent benefit structure.

Requirements include:

  • Valid driver’s license; must be at least 25 years old and insurable per procedure; 4 years driving experience; knowledgeable of Ohio driving laws
  • Successful completion of a DOT Physical
  • HS diploma or equivalent
